What is Dog  Hydrotherapy?

Kent and Medway dog hydrotherapy centre provides excellent therapy for animals in need of careful rehabilitation after injury, those suffering with general orthopaedic conditions, dogs that need to keep fit or lose a little weight. The performance and stamina of your canine can be improved with hydrotherapy.
All of our hydrotherapy sessions take place in our specially designed  water tread-mill to ensure that your dog has the right conditions to receive the optimal benefits from their session.

Benefits of hydrotherapy

To assist recovery after an operation
Hydrotherapy is the ideal way to build muscle tone and strengthen joints.
For senior dogs
Older dogs, who suffer from arthritis and whose performance and stamina are beginning to decline can benefit from hydrotherapy treatment.
Before a planned operation
By building muscle mass before surgery, the dog’s post-operative rehabilitation time will be greatly lessened.
